Hey so I have been following your blog for the past few months, and I was wondering if you had any advice for starting a blog. I want to start one but I feel like everyone has one and there is no point. Also if you don’t mind me asking what motivated you to create this?

      Hey Justin!
Thanks for reaching out, I really appreciate this question because it’s something I’ve asked myself time and time again since there seems to be a shift from reading to watching or listening. I started my blog when I was 14 or 15, not really having much idea what blogs were or the impact it could have on people, I just started it on a whim simply because I was passionate about what I now write about and had affinities for digital design and writing. While it started out rather superficial with me writing about avocado toast hahahah, it grew into something I feel connected too. Maybe it’s because my blog was almost my virtual diary growing up, but I feel that my opportunity for growth in all aspects is rooted in this blog.

If your blog is not a carbon copy of someone else’s, there is definitely a point. If you offer an authentic and genuine perspective on whatever you’re passionate about and have a vision that will help you bring that to life, I promise, it will bear rewarding results. I know it may seem pointless at times, because sometimes I fall into that sort of mental shlump too, but blogs are very powerful as they’re not just another magazine or news article, but they’re sources individuals built solely based on their thoughts and imagination.

I hope this helps and perhaps sways you to start one of your own. I wish you the best of luck and am open to any questions you have along to way!
